Liberal Party crashes and burns.  
 
Polls show that Prime Minister Stephen Harper of the Conservative Party is headed for a convincing re-election, though his party my still not win a majority of the seats in parliament. Meanwhile, Liberal Party leader Stephane Dion may become the first Liberal leader in over 100 years to never become Prime Minister (there is a good chance that the party throw him out after the loss).
