Canadians Vote Today, <em>Eh?</em>

The other 2008 election takes place today. This might serve as an interesting footnote as our supposedly "wimpy liberal" Canadian neighbors appear to be swinging further and further to the right as the once dominant

Liberal Party crashes and burns.

Polls show that Prime Minister Stephen Harper of the Conservative Party is headed for a convincing re-election, though his party my still not win a majority of the seats in parliament. Meanwhile, Liberal Party leader Stephane Dion may become the first Liberal leader in over 100 years to never become Prime Minister (there is a good chance that the party throw him out after the loss).
