Based on a mediocre interview with Katie Couric, some conservatives were actually calling for Sarah Palin to step down.

It still blows me away.

Update: David Brooks' column today is titled: "The Palin Rebound" ... My guess is Peggy Noonan's next column will ooze with praise for Palin, too.
