I seriously doubt Edwards will get the nod, but it is interesting to note that there is a good chance the person who does get the veep nod may likely be somebody that has garnered little speculation.  From Dan Quayle to Dick Cheney, quite often the person picked is a bit of a surprise.

By the way, how come Kasich and Portman haven't been mentioned in a long time?
