MI Dem Ballot in MI Primary IsMight Hold Key to McCain's Chances



This fact hasn't gotten much attention ... but I think it should:  Barack Obama will not be on the ballot in Michigan. 

In fact, Hillary Clinton

will be the only major Democrat you can vote for, because she is the only Democrat who hasn't withdrawn  ...

This is the official listing. 

Of course, the reason for this is that Michigan is being punished by the DNC for moving its Primary up in the calendar.

The outcome could be interesting:

... Dems can vote for Hillary or for "Uncommitted."  It would obviously be embarrassing to Hillary if Uncommitted wins.

... With Barack Obama not on the ballot, John McCain might stand to gain many of the independent voters who may have instead voted for Obama ...
