Harry Reid Vows to Block a Ted Olson Nomination

As you may recall, a while back I blogged that President Bush should give serious consideration to consider nominating Ted Olson as Attorney General.  Now, Harry Reid says he will block him.

"He's a partisan, and the last thing we need as an attorney general is a partisan," Reid, a Nevada Democrat, told Reuters in a brief hallway interview on Capitol Hill.

Message to President Bush:  A good fight -- for the right cause -- is good for you.  Ted Olson is highly qualified and well-liked.  This is a fight we should relish!
