Internet video site YouTube has said its users are now watching more than 100 million videos per day.

YouTube is the leading net video download site in the US, with 29% of the country's multimedia market, according to traffic monitor Hitwise.
Over at Jack's Blog, the Spokesblogger is pondering what You Tube can do for Members of Congress and constituent service:Jack Kingston has urged his staff to find new and remarkable ways to connect him with his constituents. He’s launched a Constituent MailTube where anyone can send him a question (via YouTube) and he’ll answer back in the same medium. His interns are also producing their own short clips to help show you what he’s up to in Washington. And he’s of course blogging on a regular basis.
And, Michelle is talking about how to conservatives can get a toehold in this online video world by Digging it, and getting involved on You Tube.Thanks to my wonderful web guy, Mark Jaquith,you'll notice a new feature at the end of every post that I started including over the weekend. It says "Digg This." If you click on it, it'll take you to Digg, the hot user-powered content site that now has a Politics section.
Registered members of the site get to vote on ("digg") which news stories/blog posts will be featured on the front page. The greater the number of diggs, the higher the placement on the page.
