New Scenery

I'm off to more temperate, less Christmassy climes tomorrow morning, heading to California to meet with Hugh and other Salem folks about BeyondtheNews.com.

I spent tonight decorating my own little Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Since there's snow on the ground in D.C. right now, it just felt right. My Midwestern and Northern friends inform me that the minimal white fuzz on the ground right now is not snow, but they're talking to a girl who scrapes her windows with a laminated map of Charlotte, N.C. I don't know from snow, so to me, any amount is beautiful and wondrous, and the perfect complement to my Bing Crosby Christmas CD and a scrawny Frasier fir.
