Here's Why This 11-Year-Old Illegal Immigrant Was Arrested

This week, Townhall covered how an illegal alien from Venezuela with suspected gang ties has allegedly committed 22 crimes in six months in New York City. He has yet to be deported.

In many cases, the illegal aliens have ties to violent gangs. Many teens are involved. This week, news broke that one illegal alien child was arrested for being the primary aggressor in a string of violent crimes.

An 11-year-old Venezuelan national was arrested as the main “aggressor” in a mugging that occurred on the New York City subway. In addition, the child was linked to a slew of robberies in Central Park that were committed by illegal immigrant children.

According to the New York Post, the 11-year-old was arrested, along with a 17-year-old, after they attacked a straphanger at a subway station in Queens.

The straphanger was reportedly punched in the face and had his phone stolen.

“He just kinda grabbed it and from there, they passed it around,” the 24-year-old victim told The Post in a phone interview on Wednesday.

“When I fought back to try to get my phone, they attacked. They jumped me.”

The victim told the Post that the 11-year-old was the “primary aggressor” in the incident.

“He was essentially provoking it,” the victim, who requested anonymity, said. “He was just up in my face and stuff like that.”

That’s not all. The child was caught on surveillance camera using stolen credit cards during a series of robberies in Central Park.

“At this point in time, we’re ready to call it: This is a migrant robbery pattern,” NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell reportedly said. Police have linked roughly 10 robberies that have taken place inside or along the southern end of the greenspace to a group of up to 12 migrant boys or young men.

“We think they’re responsible for most of them if not all of them,” Chell added.

Another law enforcement official told the Post that they believe the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua is behind the illegal immigrant robberies.

“This is a product of a government with no plan on how to properly integrate these immigrants into our society,” one NYPD supervisor in Manhattan said.

“It’s pretty upsetting since he’s 11 and out on the subway doing this stuff,” the victim added.

“Honestly, they need more strict parenting if their kid is like this,” the man added. “Whatever they are doing is not working.”
