Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) deleted a tweet from 2013 wishing her father a Happy Father’s Day, providing his name in the post.
“Happy Father's Day to my aabo Nur Said, I am forever grateful to Allah for giving me the best father…” read the tweet, linking to an Instagram post, which had previously been deleted.
Omar was previously married to a man named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and some are saying this may be proof of the union. "In Somalia, one’s name is normally a first name, the father’s name, and then the grandfather’s name," reports the Daily Caller.
Shaikh Tawhidi, the Imam of Peace, called attention to the post's removal.
Ilhan Omar has just deleted this tweet from 2013 that proves her father is Nur Said, which makes her Ilhan Nur Said (surnames are the fathers names in most Muslim/MENA countries), and that Ahmed Nur Said, who she married, is in fact her brother.

Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint against Omar in July over potential tax, marriage, immigration, and student loan fraud.
Did Ilhan Omar delete MORE evidence she married her brother? https://t.co/T9kKQGKVk2 https://t.co/JmXuSeuvjC
