Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) deleted a tweet from 2013 wishing her father a Happy Father’s Day, providing his name in the post.

“Happy Father's Day to my aabo Nur Said, I am forever grateful to Allah for giving me the best father…” read the tweet, linking to an Instagram post, which had previously been deleted.

Omar was previously married to a man named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and some are saying this may be proof of the union. "In Somalia, one’s name is normally a first name, the father’s name, and then the grandfather’s name," reports the Daily Caller.

Shaikh Tawhidi, the Imam of Peace, called attention to the post's removal.
