Is Ann Coulter Giving Up on Trump?

Ann Coulter was one of Donald Trump’s greatest supporters during the 2016 election cycle—even penning a book titled “In Trump We Trust.”

But after 100 days in office, she’s ready to jump ship if he doesn’t start fulfilling his campaign promises—especially on immigration, Obama’s amnesties, and the border wall.

“I’m not very happy with what has happened so far,” she told the Daily Caller. “I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues.”

She also criticized the budget Republicans pushed through.

"Where is the bull in the china shop we wanted? That budget the Republicans pushed through was like a practical joke… Did we win anything? And this is the great negotiator?" Coulter asked.

But Congress deserves a lot of the blame, too, she said.

“They are swine,” she noted. “They only care about their own careers. Who knows how much of it is corruption and how much of it is pure stupidity. People should start sending Paul Ryan bricks to indicate how much we want the wall.”

However she said she does not regret supporting Trump so vocally, and that she hasn’t totally given up just yet.

"Trump was our last shot. I kind of thought it was [Mitt] Romney, and then lo and behold like a miracle Trump comes along," she said. "I still believe in Trumpism. I have no regrets for ferociously supporting him, what choice did we have?"

She put the chances of saving the country right now “someplace between 10 percent and 90 percent.”

“I’m still rooting for him,” she said.
