Speaking about Hillary Clinton’s tax plan on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden went on a brief tangent about his grandchildren and joked that he was worth less than Sen. Bernie Sanders, a socialist.

“I aspire for one of my grandchildren to become wealthy so when they put me in the home, I’ll get a window with a view,” he said.
“As I pointed out, it was embarrassing that Bernie Sanders’ net worth is more than mine,” Biden said. “I have less money than a socialist. I don’t know what the hell happened to me.”
“I have been doing this for 44 years. You think I’m kidding. I’m not kidding, unfortunately,” Biden added.
As a reminder, Sanders bought his third home in August. Biden’s joke may have some truth to it.
