If Donald Trump became president and built a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, it still may not stop the problem of illegal immigration or drug smuggling—even if it is as high as 55-feet as he’s suggested.

Why?
“He wants to build a wall … we have tunnels, by the way,” comedian George Lopez recently pointed out on “The View.”
Since 2006, federal authorities have found more than 80 cross-border smuggling tunnels, most of which connect to either California or Arizona.
While it’s certainly more difficult to undertake the task of building a tunnel to get into the U.S. than it is to walk across the border, it just goes to show that where there’s a will there’s a way, and a wall isn’t the answer to all of our immigration problems.
