Planned Parenthood president Leana Wen tweeted a warning Friday about the “physical and emotional harm to the child’s well-being” caused by “forcibly removing a child from their parent or guardian.”

The tweet linked to a Politico article about a federal health official, Jonathan White, who testified before Congress that he’d warned the Trump administration about potential health risks of separating migrant children from their parents before they implemented that policy.

Wen heads the nation’s largest abortion provider which forcibly removed 332,757 unborn babies from the womb in abortions in the 2017-2018 fiscal year, according to their latest annual report.

Wen's tweet is reminiscent of a fundraising email that former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards sent about immigration in which she argued that “every person has the right to live.”

Many prominent conservatives on Twitter pointed to the irony of Wen’s wording on the matter.
