American University Student Creates Website to Send Your Ashes to the GOP ‘If Trumpcare Kills You’

American University junior Zoey Salsbury has created mailmetothegop.com, a website that says it will send your remains to a GOP congressman should you pass away due to the American Health Care Act, HuffPost reported Thursday.

“Many of my friends will die” Salsbury claimed. “People will literally die, and they don’t see that that’s going to happen.”

Salsbury said she made the website after talking with friends who would be affected by the legislation that the House passed Thursday.

“It’s really morbid and not fun to talk about,” she said. “But that’s the reality of passing a health care bill like this.”

“Will you die because of AHCA?” the website inquires, “Let them know.”

“Millions of Americans rely on protections and coverage from the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. The Republicans new bill will gut these protections and many will die.”

The website features a form that asks for your name, email, and the Congressman to whom you would like your ashes to be mailed.

There is also an optional question asking why you will die because of the Republican health care bill.

According to Huffpost, “The National Funeral Directors Association says it’s illegal to ship cremated remains via any carrier other than the U.S. Postal Service, which put together a helpful guide.”
