Eric Holder: I'm Seriously Considering a Run For President

Former Attorney General Eric Holder, who is the first sitting Cabinet member in U.S. history to be held in contempt of Congress by Republicans and Democrats, is no fan of President Trump. In fact, he considers himself a leading member of the resistance and has been working overtime against voter ID laws. He's also in charge of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which works on gerrymandering congressional districts in favor of leftist candidates.

But Holder appears to have plans to take his activism to a whole new level by entertaining a run for the White House.

"I'm thinking about it," Holder said during an interview with MSNBC. "But I have not made any decisions on it."

"I think our democracy is under attack. If you look at the question of gerrymandering, the question of voter suppression," he continued. "A lot of these things are falling by the wayside."

Adding to the speculation of a 2020 run, Holder will visit New Hampshire in June.

No word yet on when Holder, the most unpopular attorney general in American history, will visit Iowa.

In the meantime, Holder is working to block the Trump administration from adding a question about citizenship to the 2020 census.
