On Friday afternoon FBI Director James Comey announced that due to new findings, the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server had been reopened.
The new information was found inadvertently during a separate, unrelated investigation of former Congressman Anthony Weiner's sexting with an underage girl. Emails related to Hillary Clinton's case were found on a laptop belonging to Weiner and ex-wife Huma Abedin, who is a longtime aide for Clinton.
As a result, requests for search warrants to read through the new information were submitted to the Department of Justice. They still haven't been approved. Yahoo News has the exclusive:
As of Saturday night, the FBI was still in talks with the Justice Department about obtaining a warrant that would allow agency officials to read any of the newly discovered Abedin emails, and therefore was still in the dark about whether they include any classified material that the bureau has not already seen.
“We do not have a warrant,” a senior law enforcement official said. “Discussions are under way [between the FBI and the Justice Department] as to the best way to move forward.”
This comes less than 24 hours after we learned Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who met secretly with Bill Clinton on her private plane just days before a non-indictment of the former Secretary of State was issued in July, pressured Comey not to tell Congress about the new developments and reopening of the investigation. Because of her obvious political interests, Lynch was ignored.

During the initial criminal investigation the Department of Justice, not the FBI, granted immunity to essentially all of Clinton's top aides, effectively tying the hands of agents.
"In our investigations, any kind of immunity comes from the prosecutors, not the investigators," Comey said during sworn congressional testimony in September. "The FBI doesn't grant immunity to anybody, the Department of Justice is able to grant very different kinds of immunity."
"If new and substantial evidence develops a witness lied [under immunity], of course the Department of Justice can pursue it. Nobody gets lifetime immunity," he continued.

The Department of Justice obstructed justice the first time around and now Lynch is personally doing it again, and for what? Does she really believe giving Clinton special favor is going to help with voters considering being above the law is her greatest liability? If anything Lynch's stonewalling fuels the argument that Washington D.C. is corrupt, the swamp must be drained and it's time for the elites to be held to the same standard as the rest of America.
