Important Sunday Hunting Bill Clears Hurdle in Virginia

In a victory for the Second Amendment and the hunting industry, the Virginia House passed a bill Tuesday lifting the ban on Sunday hunting on private lands (with owner permission). The vote was 71-27 and the bill is headed to the Senate for consideration on Thursday.

Currently, the economic impact of deer hunting in Virginia is $250 million, which will only increase if the ban is officially lifted. Hunters in Virginia donate more food to homeless shelters each year than any other state. Overall, hunters are responsible for major conservation efforts throughout the United States.
