Monday night in Austin, thousands of pro-life activists descended on the Texas Capitol to rally for pro-life bills HB2 and SB1. Both pieces of legislation ban abortions after five months of pregnancy and require abortion clinics to meet basic medical standards. HB2 is set for a vote today in the Texas House and the Senate version is expected to be voted on later this week.
