Room Service Late-Term Abortion in New Mexico: "Just Sit on the Toilet"

As the debate over late-term abortion continues in Texas and around the country, inhuman abortion practices are taking place everyday. LiveAction, the pro-life activist group, is out with another video today exposing the horrors of the abortion industry. This time, video footage shows abortionists and workers at Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque, New Mexico leaving women alone in hotel rooms to deliver dead children after a late-term abortion [after a fatal injection into the baby to stop its heartbeat] procedure is started.

An unnamed counselor at the facility advises Live Action’s 27-week-pregnant [six months] investigator:

If we can’t catch it [delivery of the dead baby – the final stage of the abortion procedure] early enough, which has happened … then you’ll want to unlock the door to the hotel room, get your cell phone, and just sit on the toilet.  You don’t have to look at anything … you can stay on the phone with us until the doctor and nurse get there[.]

“Abortion corporations like Southwestern Women’s Options and Planned Parenthood will say and do anything to ‘close the deal,’” Live Action President Lila Rose said in a statement.  “Leaving a woman alone on the toilet in a hotel room and saying ‘call us and we’ll come get you’ – at a time when seconds can make the difference between life and death – is profoundly irresponsible and negligent.  We must never forget that abortion is a business first and foremost – a business willing to destroy a helpless, voiceless child for literally thousands of dollars.  We cannot be surprised when they send women off in the middle of a dangerous procedure for ‘room-service abortions.’  But we can be disgusted, and we can demand an end to it.”

The Southwestern Women's Options clinic is the same place where Dr. Carmen Landau comparing a lethal abortion injection to a flu shot.

For reference, babies as young as 20 weeks have survived outside of the womb after arriving early.

At 18 months old, Amillia Taylor is already entering the terrible twos.

When life doesn't go her way, she stamps her little foot, pushes out her lower lip and makes her demands with a sweet baby lisp.

She is, her parents say with a smile, a 'proper little madam'. But it's a fighting spirit which has served Amillia well.

Because this bright, beguiling toddler was born at just 21 weeks and six days into her gestation  -  a whole two weeks before the existing abortion cut-off.

She is the world's youngest premature baby ever to survive and the image of her tiny feet poking out between the fingers of a doctor's hand were used to support calls for the lowering of the 24-week legal limit on abortion.
