Rachel Maddow Can't Defend Obama's Gutting of Medicare

Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow couldn't defend $700 billion in cuts made by the Obama administration to Medicare in order to pay for ObamaCare. When pressed on the issue, the only argument she had was, "I'm not running for anything."

Maddow isn't the only progressive to use the, "I'm not running for anything," argument. Harry Reid said the same thing when he was asked whether he would release his tax returns after demanding Mitt Romney do so and after accusing Romney of not paying taxes for ten years.
