Eric Holder to Face Contempt Charge Today

BREAKING: Just 15 minutes before the House Oversight Committee vote against Attorney General Eric Holder takes place, the Department of Justice has asked the White House to insert Executive Privilege for all Operation Fast and Furious documents according to Chairman Issa's press secretary Becca Watkins. Regardless, the vote will move forward. If President Obama decides to invoke Executive Privilege, it is an indication that President Obama was involved in Operation Fast and Furious, which he has boldly denied.

After failing to produce 1300 requested documents surrounding Operation Fast and Furious at a last minute meeting last night, the House Oversight Committee, headed by Chairman Darrell Issa, will proceed with contempt proceedings against Attorney General Eric Holder today on Capitol Hill.

The vote comes after more than a year of stonewalling, frustrating statements and misleading information from the Justice Department. Holder has failed repeatedly to produce documents requested in an October 2011 subpoena, claimed he would show up to last night's meeting would documents and then didn't deliver.

Ahead of today's vote, Josephine Terry, murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's mother, is hoping for justice.
