Glenn Beck Might Vote For Ron Paul

It is clear Glenn Beck isn't satisfied with the GOP primary race coming down to Newt vs. Romney. During his radio show yesterday, Beck said he would consider voting for Ron Paul as a third party candidate if Newt Gingrich were to secure the GOP nomination, which would pretty much guarantee Obama a second term.

"For me if I had to vote it would be a tough choice between Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum, it goes to Rick Santorum, however I said last week, I have a gun to my head I'll vote for Mitt Romney, and if it's Newt Gingrich and there's a third party and it's Ron Paul, and I don't agree with his Middle Eastern policy at all, I might consider Ron Paul as a third party."

As the RightScoop puts it:

This is suicide and it doesn’t get any simpler this: voting third party on our side for whomever guarantees Obama a victory. That’s it. And if Newt’s the nominee and Beck wants to go that road, then I tell him what I tell others: enjoy the hell that will be a second Obama term.

Maybe it's time to start focusing on keeping a conservative House and taking back the Senate. If the GOP nominee is either Gingrich or Romney, a conservative Congress will hold their feet to the fire without giving Obama a second term.
