EXCLUSIVE: Huckabee is Back

For the first time in years, former Arkansas Governor, presidential candidate and current Fox News host Mike Huckabee will return to the Conservative Political Action Conference in February 2012, hosted by the American Conservative Union in Washington D.C. Huckabee will be a keynote speaker for the three day conference on Friday, February 10 in the afternoon. Citizen United Productions will show attendees a special screening of the new Pro-life documentary "The Gift of Life," after Huckabee gives his address.

“We are proud to welcome our friend Mike Huckabee back to CPAC. Governor Huckabee was a tremendous chief executive of Arkansas for nearly a decade and has continued his success in the public arena as a best-selling author, influencing hundreds of thousands of grassroots conservatives across the nation,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “The American Conservative Union looks forward to hosting CPAC next February as the premier venue to highlight conservative leaders, principles and policies in 2012.”

Every year, the ACU brings thousands of grassroots conservatives and conservative leaders together in Washington, DC for three days of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities – all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values. Citizens United, a returning partner in CPAC, has recently teamed with Governor Huckabee to produce “The Gift of Life,” hosted by the former Arkansas Governor.  This Pro-Life film is an inspirational documentary that explores the sanctity of life as a moral issue and looks at the lives of individuals on the front lines of the Pro-Life movement in America, including those who were nearly victims of abortion.

“Governor Huckabee is one of the conservative movement’s leading voices for preserving traditional values and advancing commonsense government reform solutions,” added Citizens United President David N. Bossie. “We are proud to continue our partnership with him on projects to advance conservative causes, including CPAC 2012.”
