Rick Perry Promises 2.5 Million Jobs in First Iowa TV Ad

Rick Perry's first television ad launches in Iowa today with a message of job growth and domestic energy production. Perry promises to create at least 2.5 million jobs, which would make up for the jobs lost under President Obama.

It's a positive ad and nice to see team Perry take a break from the Romney bashing for once, which is not only beneficial to Perry but also targets the real opponent, Barack Obama. Perry has his work cut out for him in Iowa over the next two months as he is polling below everyone in the GOP field but Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman with 7 percent.
