11:14 PM EST: Still waiting on President Obama to make a statement. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed Bin Laden was killed in a mansion just outside of Islamabad, Pakistan. This brings up the question: Who was helping to hide him in this mansion?
Michelle Malkin has pointed out on her Twitter feed it is important to remember Bin Laden was not only responsible for 9/11, but for the bombing of the USS Cole, the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, the bombing of the U.S. embassy in Africa and the Beirut Marine barracks attacks.

Major news outlets are confirming Osama Bin Laden is DEAD. Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin says the Pentagon is reporting Bin Laden was killed over a week ago by a U.S. missile and a DNA test has confirmed it was indeed the head-mastermind of September 11. The announcement was halted in order to confirm the DNA test.

The President is expected to make the announcement shortly. You can watch live here.

This news will certainly bring the United States' strategy moving forward in Afghanistan back into full discussion.

Stay tuned for updates.

It is a great day to be an American. God bless the United States of America and the U.S. military.
