Wonder Why You Have to Buy "Eco-Friendly" Lightbulbs?

Could it be because the White House is in bed with General Electric? The maker of those obnoxious, ugly, expensive and inefficeint "eco-friendly" lightbulbs that burn out faster than once expected which you are forced to buy because regular lightbulbs are now banned from being sold in stores?

Today, President Obama will announce he has chosen G.E. CEO Jeffrey Immelt to lead his new government Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

Brace yourself, we are about to see an inefficient green jobs inititive forced on us so Obama can get his green agenda through while giving special perks to G.E. in the process.

Whether it is pushing the president’s plan for global warming fees in order to create demand for his “Ecomagination” line of windmills, solar panels, etc., boosting the president’s national health-care law as part of an effort to sell more medical equipment, or enthusing over the Obama strategy of making loans available for industrial exporters, Immelt has been an Obama stalwart all along. Immelt has also consistently argued to shareholders that there is big money to be made in advancing the Democratic agenda.
