A Los Angeles sheriff may cut DNA testing for sex crimes due to a lack of funds, allowing rapists to go free without prosecution. The sheriff has over 4,000 sexual assault cases pending, and those 4,000 may be dismissed due to budget deficits at the local and state levels, leaving victims of the crimes with no hope for justice.
