President Trump to Host Chinese President at Mar-a-Lago in April

President Donald Trump plans to host Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Florida home in April, according to a report.

After a heated 2016 presidential campaign, the two countries are expected to smooth over relations at President Trump's famous Mar-a-Lago resort.

The meeting, which is planned for April 6 and 7, will mostly be a working session without any plans for golf.

A White House official cautioned CNN that the plan is only tentative at the moment.  Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is expected to finalize plans for the summit with Chinese officials in Beijing this week.
