DHS: We Cannot Gamble With American Lives

Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly cleared up any doubt on Tuesday that he was well informed and up to date on President Donald Trump's executive order banning persons from certain countries throughout the world from entering the United States.

"This is not, I repeat, a ban on Muslims," Kelly clarified.  He also added that the order is not a travel ban, but merely a temporary pause that allows the federal government to better review the existing refugee and visa vetting system.

Kelly did admit that he was not tasked with proof reading the simple grammar of the document, but he was well aware of the overall procedure.
