Cancel It: Trump Says Boeing's Air Force One Contract is Out of Control

According to President-elect Donald Trump, Boeing is "doing a number" on the American people by raising the cost of construction on the new Air Force One aircraft to over $4 billion.

Before entering his office on Tuesday morning, he took a question from the press about canceling the order.

"The plane is totally out of control. It's going to be over 4 billion dollars for the Air Force One program.  I think it's ridiculous. I think Boeing is doing a little bit of a number.  We want Boeing to make a lot of money, but not that much money," he said.

"Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!" he tweeted this morning of the presidential aircraft.
