An Oklahoma police officer Betty Shelby has been charged with first degree manslaughter for the fatal shooting of an unarmed black man, the Tulsa County District Attorney announced Thursday.

She shot and killed Terence Crutcher, 40, on Friday night as he was being detained. The incident was caught on police helicopter video.
A warrant has been issued for Shelby's arrest.
