Watch: Woman Who Called Dallas Shooter a 'Martyr' Smiles as She Defends Her Claims

In an extremely awkward interview on "Hannity," the woman who infamously said that the shooter involved in the Dallas attack that left five police officers dead was a martyr, Kalyn Chapman James defended her claims and did so with a smile on her face.

"I don't want to feel this way" James said in a Facebook video on Sunday. "I don't feel sad for the officers who lost their lives ... I know that's not really my heart. I value human life. And I want to feel sad for them but I can't help but feeling like the shooter was a martyr."

This prompted Sean Hannity to schedule an interview during Tuesday night's Fox News segment.

“You say in that video you value human life, but you don’t feel bad for those officers — you can’t value human life and say such a thing,” Hannity said. “You obviously don’t value human life, do you?”

“I was really conflicted and very sad that I was finding it hard to go into my heart, to be true to my values of valuing human life at that time because I had just witnessed atrocities against these men,” James said.

"You called the person a martyr," Hannity said blatantly.

"You're entitled to your opinion," James said with a smile.
