Low Voter Turnout Expected in South Carolina

The Democratic primary in South Carolina is expected to see a turnout far less than what we saw in last week's record breaking Republican primary.

According to ABC News 15 in South Carolina:

Democratic voter turnout Saturday isn't expected to be as high as it was in 2008. That's when more than 500,000 ballots were cast in South Carolina. This year, about 350,000 people are expected to vote.

"Take a look at the races," Drew Kurlowski, an Assistant Politics Professor at Coastal Carolina University, said. "On the Republican side of things you have six candidates who were all very close, big personalities, big differences, I think, in opinions. I think what we're seeing on the Democratic side is a much quieter campaign. We only have two candidates."

Expect to see the predicted landslide victory for Hillary Clinton when the polls close at 7 pm Eastern.
