Grayson Enjoys Spoils From Tea Party Candidate

Peg Dunmire is running as the official Tea Party candidate against Republican Dan Webster and Democrat Alan Grayson in Florida’s eighth Congressional district, and is winning 6% of the vote according to a recent poll. That translates into a tea party candidate spoiling the Republican vote, and leaving crazy Rep. Alan Grayson in office.


In an interview, Dunmire said that she strongly resents the idea that she’s “siphoning off votes,” telling me that I was "repeating the Republican mantra" by even insinuating that she was a spoiler. Republican sources called her a "miserable failure of a candidate," who was simply jealous that she didn't win the GOP primary against Webster. Read the whole thing here.
