Meryl Streep Likely To Portray Margaret Thatcher As Depressed, Dementia-Ridden

A new movie chronicles Thatcher's life, mostly from "the recent past," and highlights the "power and the price that is paid for power." Right now, Meryl Streep is likely to star as Thatcher.

Cameron McCracken, the managing director of the film-maker Pathe, told the Telegraph that Thatcher's health won't be glossed over, but that it will be “treated with appropriate sensitivity." The film will be fictional, but "fair and accurate.”
