Euro: How Low Can You Go

The Euro was adopted in 1995, and its value rose steadily from 2000 until 2008. Now, it's lost 50% of that value, over concerns that Europe's budget deficits are too large, that their banks are too insolvent. The euro is currently at a four year low.

Stocks dropped across the continent over concerns about the euro, but also because of concerns over the unemployment rate, which rose from 10% to 10.1% in March.
