Coakley Raises $1.3 Million From Kennedy's Widow, Brown Raises $1.2 Million From His Wits

An email appeal from Vicki Kennedy, widow of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), resulted in $700,000 worth of donations to Martha Coakley's campaign. $600,000 was given to MoveOn.org's separate appeal, which also invoked Kennedy's memory. Vicki also starred in a TV commercial for Coakley.

By comparison, Scott Brown launched a “Red Invades Blue moneybomb” on Tuesday and raised about  $1.2 million.
