Hospital Births Under Fire From Grassroots Lobbying
Giving birth outside hospitals is strongly condemned by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, but the practice is becoming more and more popular by couples who tire of frequent Cesarean births, unneeded prenatal medications, and impersonal care. As health care reform heats up, the issue has been influenced by unconventional lobbying efforts.
