Health Care Won't Go Through By August

The Politico reports that Majority Leader Harry Reid is punting on President Obama's self-imposed August 3 deadline to pass health care reform. Speaker Nancy Pelosi seems to still be on board for the deadline, but without Reid, that goal does not seem realistic.

“All this is no surprise to anyone,” Reid told Politico.

Nope. It's not a surprise. But it certainly validates those of us who were yelling and screaming about the hastiness of Obama's unrealistic August 3 deadline.
