Today, a dozen unions are getting exclusive access to the President via a private meeting in the White House. On the official agenda is not only union issues, but health care, where they're trying to negotiate an exclusion from a proposed House rule that would tax health benefits. On the unofficial agenda, they'll also be lobbying for union tax exemptions from things like cute puppies, chocolate goodies, and summer cocktails.
