Sex Offender Arrested Twice, Charged With 8 Offenses In 6 Hour Period

Zachary Jackson was arrested in New York after he was found drunk with his two children around midnight on Sunday. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and released after his children were taken from him.

Six hours later, a woman reported that Jackson had raped her, leading to a second arrest and eight charges: first-degree rape, sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment, sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child, forcible touching and assault.

At the time of the incidents, Jackson was rated on the New York state sex offender registry as a level 3 offender, meaning there was a high likelihood that he would commit another sex crime.

Seems like the rating system is working.
