2 Confirmed, 8 Suspected To Have Swine Flu In MD

From the Baltimore Business Journal:

The tally of probable swine flu cases in Maryland has risen to eight, state health officials said Thursday afternoon.

The two new cases include a 40-year-old Baltimore County woman and a 53-year-old man in Montgomery County. Both individuals showed flu-like symptoms and traveled to areas affected by the swine flu.

State health officials expect to know within 24 hours whether the eight Maryland residents do in fact have the virus.
