Audio; Mitch McConnell Defends Liu Filibuster, Rips NLRB Over Boeing

Hugh Hewitt interviewed Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell on his radio program last night, offering McConnell an opportunity to explain his caucus' decision to filibuster Obama judicial nominee Goodwin Liu.  Sen. McConnell said many Republicans opposed the judicial filibuster when Democrats abused the practice during the Bush administration, but conceded that "we lost that battle...so all we did today was follow the new norm in the Senate" established by Democrats.  He also name-checked Miguel Estrada, reminding listeners of Democrats' reprehensible treatment of one of President Bush's most impressive nominees.  McConnell went on to savage the Obama Administration for its "Chicago-style" thuggery in regards to the National Labor Relations Board's intimidation of Boeing:
