Dr. Dan Benishek, the Republican, has won the seat vacated by Rep. Bart Stupak. Stupak's epic sellout on healthcare and abortion raised the ire of his conservative district, forcing him into retirement. This pick-up is especially satisfying for pro-lifers.

Other Stupak sellouts who have already lost: Perriello VA-05, Hill IN-09, Dahlkemper PA-03, Kanjorski PA-11.
