I am delighted to officially introduce myself as the new Political Editor of Townhall.com. Since graduating from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 2007, I've been a

radio talk show host, producer, and blogger based in Chicago. After several years of contributing to National Review Online and Andrew Breitbart's 'Big' sites, Townhall's General Manager, Jonathan Garthwaite, invited me to move to Washington to join his team, and I eagerly accepted. I'm thrilled to be here.

In the coming days, the Townhall blog will adopt a terrific new look and name -- and we hope you'll continue to stop by throughout your day for news, views, and sharp analysis on national politics and hotly contested elections across the country.
