A bureaucracy inside the Department of Transportation has piled up a complex set of sleep and stop rules on truckers so high that it's killing their wages, increasing the costs of moving freight around the country (which drives up costs to you and me), and may just be making our roads more dangerous, not less - forcing drivers to drive when they're tired, and sleep when they're alert. And pushing more big rigs onto the road during heavier traffic times.
