House Dems Pause For Moment Of Silence For Jackson During Global Warming Vote

Priorities were raised to the most significant heights today on the House floor with the Energy Bill vote and a moment of silence for the King of Pop.

USA Today: The House of Representatives paused during debate on a climate change bill today to rise for a moment of silence in tribute to singer Michael Jackson.

"On behalf of a generation, thank God for letting us live in his generation and era," Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., D-IL, told the House.

"We pay tribute to the culture that he has left behind, his legacy," said Rep. Diane Watson, D-CA.
