ACLU School Prayer Ban Restrains Students' Graduation Speeches

First Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Do you see anything in there that suggests Americans are not allowed to give thanks to their God at graduation? First, I see a "separation" but the restriction is given to Congress and not to citizens; the restriction is towards the government establishing a religion. How does prayer at graduation establish a government religion? Second, the prohibition is directed at Congress and not at American citizens: Congress is not allowed to do anything that would prohibit American citizens from exercising their religion. So why is the Constitutional freedom to exercise gratitude towards God at school graduations becoming a national mandate? 

Since when did the ACLU creed trump the Constitution of the United States? This madness needs to stop!
