Shocker! MSNBC's Mitchell Declares Obama 'Has Inherited This N Korea Policy & Conundrum' From Bush

What I left out of this clip was almost as entertaining. How Mitchell tried to segway into her question required skills she does not possess. Immediately after Mitchell's monologue that surpasses the reach of an Obama "I inherited" talking point, she asks: "I guess, the question is, do-do, should we take them seriously? Do we know who's in charge? Is this really a threat of war?" Wow! This lesson from the Andrea Mitchell school of journalism demonstrates the process called "the setup." The setup consists of a statement that provides no context or relavancy to your up-and-coming question. Excellent lesson Mrs. Mitchell! You and your network continue to earn an Obama red star.
