Have a Happy (and Productive) Holiday! Love, Team Obama.

I'm all for encouraging political discourse--in fact, it's one of my all-time favorite activities. Passionate discussion and the exchange of ideas is a cornerstone of freedom and democracy, and your family members are some of the absolute best people to talk/argue/rage about politics with, since they'll (probably) still love you afterwards. But honestly, all I'm hearing here is: "When you get home from college, use your newly-acquired, modern, extensive worldly knowledge to convince your ignorant, stuck-in-their-ways, old-fashioned family of why they need to vote for Barack Obama in 2012. It's the condescendingly cool, englightened thing to do." Ugh.
